Animal Rights In my animal rights essay I am focusing on the use of animals in medical research. I believe strongly that animals should not be used in medical experiments because I feel the suffering of the animals is not justified. Many people are opposed to animal research for the obvious reason that animals should not suffer. The main argument is that should many animals suffer for the medicine that could save somebody's life. There are many organizations that are opposed to animal research. Most believe that animals should not be subject to unnecessary pain and non-animal research should be used wherever possible. There are also groups of people that believe that testing on animals is totally wrong that it should not happen at all. These people are called the Anti-vivi-sectionists.
