What's the difference between popular recreations and rationalised sports? Over the past few centuries the world of sports has changed with great intentions. From what started out as local recreational sports then spread across the country. From then, competitions were formed and fixtures arranged between villages. This is how the popular recreations soon became worldwide rationalised sports. Most recreational sports were started in villages where local workers designed types of games that could be played in their village. These recreational games did not have any rules except the aim of the game. For example in most invasion games, the aim was to get to your opponents side. This may sound easy but games like this were not just played by ten or eleven people, but by everyone in the village versus everyone else in another.
