Low Back Pain following MVA Patient Details: Ms C is a 20 year old female student presenting to the clinic with low back pain following a motor vehicle accident 5 weeks prior. Ms C collided into the rear of another car at approximately 50km/hr. Immediately after the accident Ms C complained of neck pain which eventually subsided and low back pain which persisted with no improvement with time. Prior to the accident she spends most of her time sitting at the desk but also has quite an active lifestyle when not studying. She went to the gym 2 twice a week and is a qualified aerobics instructor. Since the accident however she has been unable to exercise or sit for long periods as these activities seems to aggravate symptoms. The low back pain was of an aching quality at the L2-L4 region. She finds relief from laying down and resting after activity....
