It will discuss the advantages, drawbacks and problems visually impaired people face when accessing football. It will include an appropriate literature review, a focus on visually impaired people, a methodological outline, a collation and presentation of findings, and conclusions based on these. Football is the fastest growing sport in the world. Its growth has resulted in the best players coming to play in the best leagues; the game is now more popular than ever with over 500,000 people attending football matches every weekend in England (source; TheFA.com).
