My investigation is based on the assumption that you would like to be informed about (1) what steroids are; (2) why people take steroids; (3) side effects; (4) drug testing (5) and the laws against steroids. With the help of the Internet I have found articles that summarize information about anabolic steroids. After reading this report I hope will be more informed about this topic. 1.What are Anabolic Steroids? According to an article posted on steroidinformation.com the drug was initially created in the 1930's to treat a condition where the body did not produce an adequate amount of testosterone, a hormone for normal growth. Scientists then discovered that anabolic steroids could enhance the growth of skeletal muscle in laboratory animals. This discovery led to the drug use of
