Discuss the reasons for deviance and identify the problems that organisers face Deviance is a large scale problem in all sport. There are many reasons for this and I will explain them throughout my essay. Major games such as the Olympics and world championships are everyday riddled with high profile incidents where athletes are caught out by the testers. The games are a giant shop window for people and nations to prove their worth and sport is the best way to do this over 3 billion watch the games. With such popularity people want to see the best of the best and don't want to watch a 100m final run in 10 seconds, they want a world record breaking time all the time and this pressure leads to my first deviance of drugs in sport.
