Over the next few paragraphs I shall be examining the question above in more details. I shall summarise five ethical issues that need to be taken into account when planning research and then provide examples of these issues from research papers. The papers I shall be using are: 'Negotiating Autonomy: Children's Use of Time and Space in Rural Bolivia' - Samantha Punch (2004) 'Gender Play: Girls and Boys in School' - Barrie Thorne (2004) I will then draw a conclusion where I shall aim to summarise the main points of my arguments. Ethical issues are relevant to all elements of the research process, up to and including dissemination.
