Ethical Issues Psychology research has been said to lead to a better understanding of ourselves, the enhancement of the human condition and promotion of human welfare. Unfortunately this statement isn't always applicable to all psychological studies. A main aspect that is addressed in psychological studies is confidentiality. Confidentiality in psychological studies means that person who was involved in the experiment wishes to remain anonymous. By doing this, details such as name, address and age as well as other things are kept put of the write-ups about the study. An advantage of this is it provokes an ease of mind in the person being studied, which can often mean there is more efficient progress during the experiment.
