A mismatch occurs if there is a difference between perception and coping. When the body is stressed, the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is responsible for keeping the body stable by controlling the heart rate, perspiration, eye sensitivity, and digestion. This is divided into 2 parts, the sympathetic branch, and the Parasympathetic branch. In the Sympathetic branch, the stressor in the case of the person alerts the ANS and the hypothalamus which releases a Neurotransmitter called Noradrenaline.
