Females Versus Males: Who is More Ethical Depends on the Situation Abstract Ethical dilemmas are encountered on a daily basis, but are often resolved in different ways by males and females. Females tend to relate ethics with concern for others while males justify their ethics with logical reason. This study had forty-two participants (Males-20, Females-22) that read the same ethical scenario, which could be encountered in a business environment. Participants then completed a questionnaire, including how they would resolve the situation. Results showed no significant evidence that males and females responded to the ethical dilemma differently. Various implications such as the participants and the ethical scenario could have affected the results.
