Main body Therapeutic cloning, also known as biomedical cloning, this procedure in the initial stages are similar to adult DNA cloning. The difference being that the stem cells will be removed from the pre-embryo, the reason for this is that it will be used to produce tissues or whole organs for a transplant back into the person who supplied the DNA.
