To Clone Or Not To Clone is an issue that has been evolving during time. Even science fiction movies, such as Multiplicity were produced about cloning. As the time passed, cloning became a reality. In 1996 Dolly, the first mammal sheep was born. Ian Wilmut, an embryologist of the Rosling institute, created Dolly. Since then, many mammals, such as mice and calves were created. Right now, there is a fear, that humans might be the next to be cloned. Cloning is the replication of an exact genetic copy of an organism by use of a somatic tissue (or cell) from the donor organism. University of Chicago ethicist Leon Kass has been appointed head of the President's Council on Bioethics.
