... Initial Crime Scene Reports Lead Inspector: Detective Dye Date: Tuesday 8th April 2004 Weather: Clear, cold Air temperature: 15 degrees Responding: Deputies J. Gale, S. Edmonds, M. Bass, and Detective P. Lawler Ambulance from Alexander hospital, arrival 10.05 to 10.10. Location: Thomas Aveling School, Arethusa Road, Staff room. Situated: South of county Summons: Fire Department On scene at first response: Edmonds and Gale. Edmonds was inspecting round the back of staff room, Gale was down at the ambulance. Witnesses: security guard, P. Higgins. Injured: Mr Stuart. Peter Higgins was monitoring the CCTV, he noticed a student at the back of the school, he was acting strangely. He was hanging around the outside of the staff room. The student was wearing a black hooded jacket and trainers. The student then left without any hassle. Mr Stuart; "the fire alarm was going off.
