Reproduction Of all the systems in the body, the reproductive system is the only system that does not directly contribute to a single person's survival, although without this specific system, it would not be possible for reproduction, therefore the human species would cease to exist. The reproductive system also differs from our other bodily systems, in that the female reproductive system is different from the male reproductive system. Usually between the ages of ten and sixteen, both boys and girls go through a stage called puberty. This results in many changes of the body, with the changes being different for males and females, though psychological and emotional changes accompany the physical changes in both sexes.
