This place, also known as the Stampede Road in Healy, has brought richness and happiness to some, and death to others. One of the most incredible cases is the one of Chris McCandless. McCandless, a youth in his twenties, an excel student, athlete and son, suddenly decided to go into the wild, into the Stampede Trail. He changed his identity and started a voyage that will end with his life. Chris McCandless Chris McCandless was an adventurer who sympathized with Tolstoy, Emerson, and Thoreau's ideas. Based upon this ideology, McCandless decided to go into a trip, which objective was to find answers about life....
