Some think that it will destroy their community, others think it will help. In fact, most people living in a growing community don't like the idea of Urban Sprawl. Most people think it will destroy their town and the environment that is still there. Much like Garret Hardin who says of people against sprawl, "Since we all share life on this planet, they [people against sprawl] argue, no single person or institution has the right to destroy, waste, or use more than a fair share of it's resources" (Lifeboat ethics, 124).
