Of Bears and Boys By Nicky Green Prologue: Not many people have visited Najac, Montana, a remote town in Canada. It is set on a plain against a back cloth of dramatic high mountains reaching high into the sky. The tips of which are always covered in snow and cloud. The landscape is beautiful but harsh during the winter months. Buildings dating back several centuries are enclosed within the old town walls, much, of which remains standing today. The newer, and it has to be said less impressive, buildings are grouped outside these walls. The main characters are from two families who had once lived in the town during the early days of the European settlers. The O'Brady's ancestors were from Ireland and the Durants' were from France. In these days when the town was just developing all were welcomed. The town had yet to build the wall that surrounds it today....
