How accurate is the guidebooks information about Kenilworth castle? This is my second part of my course work which I am going to write about the accuracy of the guide book of Kenilworth castle. I am going to compare the information in the guide book to what I saw when I visited Kenilworth castle. The guide book tells us that the castle was built over periods of time. Also I know that the guide book is totally accurate about Kenilworth as I had visited it. The keep and the 1200's There has been many things that have taken place in the 1200's and one of them was the improvements of castles which were necessary as in the 1100's castles were not very strong as they were only square stone keeps. In the introduction of the book it clearly says that in the early '13th century king john added an outer circuit of stonewalls...
