Humans have been searching for absolute certainty all through history, and it is seen to be a "failed historical enterprise" Many people say that absolute certainty in general is impossible, but this statement is contradicting itself, because saying that anything is impossible implies that you are absolutely certain about this, and this is a contradiction. Absolute certainty in mathematics is possible, if it were impossible then nothing in this world can be certain, we will live in a world where everything is doubted and one cannot be sure of anything. When one says that "Absolute certainty in mathematics is impossible" this implies that all the concepts of mathematics leave space for doubt.
