Should a knower's personal point of view be considered an asset in the pursuit of knowledge, or an obstacle to be overcome?

... PROMPT: Should a knower's personal point of view be considered an asset in the pursuit of knowledge, or an obstacle to be overcome? Shabnam Danesh Theory of Knowledge January 13th 2002 PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW: IS IT AN ASSET OR OBSTACLE? Each person's mind is not the same. We all think differently. I always find myself thinking that every person should be on the same wavelength because then we would all understand each other. How do I know that people cannot think alike? Each person is influenced by a different area of knowledge that helps him/her to make and justify decisions. Different Kinds of People Have Different Points of View Why don't two people think alike all the time? It is a mystery that has been questioned forever.
