My Work Experience placement is going to take place at St Mary Magdalene Playgroup in Enfield Chase, North London. This playgroup was established in 1982 and their aim is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent-involving, community - based group. As we only had a week to find a placement independently, I got this work experience placement with the school. However, it was my second choice. My first choice was to work with a magazine company. I felt slightly disappointed when I found out where I was working as I had high hopes for the magazine company. However, I was determined to push this aside and look forward to working in the Playgroup. During my time in this playgroup I intend to achieve an understanding of work life.
