Citizenship coursework on work experience- Leanne Ellis * The reason I think work experience was organised, was because it gave students a benefit to when they went into the working world, and made us more aware of what adults in the working place expected of us and how our attitude should be. I went to work in 'Attleborough infant school', and I was a helper in 2 classes, Brown class and Turquoise class. I was a helper, and the teachers in both classes started me off by introducing me to all the children. I helped out with things like handwriting, labelling, counting money, sorting out the alphabet box, ICT and word searches. But I also had more serious jobs such as filing, photocopying and sorting out problems in the playground, such as children being left out, fighting or getting them into the lunch line.
