CRASH! BANG! THUD! I froze in my tracks as I realised my mistake. Stupidly I had tripped over the coffee machine wire and was beginning to get ensnared by the coils of the wire like a python. The more is struggled and squirmed the more tangled up I got. To the extent I looked like a fish stranded on a beach desperately trying to get to the water. The whole world seemed to collapse around me an avalanche as I heard angry stomping of feet down the hallway. I cranked my head towards the door as the footsteps loomed closer.
