At the beginning of Year 10 all year 10 students were told that we were going to start work experience in May next year. As the weeks went on it got closer and closer to work experience. I felt increasingly nervous; this is because I have no experience of working with a company. We were given the work experience forms and were told to search for a job of our choice. Unfortunately I left this to the last minute and had quite some trouble finding the right placement for me, most of the companies already had enough students. In the end I chose to work at a large local surgery in easy Finchley. The reason why I chose this was because I would like to become and doctor or get involved with a medical career when I am older.
