Personal Experience Writing Before my week of work experience I was clueless about what it was like to be in an operating theatre or what an aneurysm was. It had never crossed my mind that one day I would know the answer, but that was before I spent an eventful week at Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary. "Have a nice day." And with those words my father drove away leaving me outside the large, spotless white building. The main glass entrance slid open as I approached. As expected the hospital was full of people.
