Death of a Salesman - Willy Lowman's tragedy is due more to his own flawed character than to societies' flaws Death of a salesman is a play about Willy Lowman and his family it is predominately focused on Willy and concentrates on his last twenty four hours of life until his fatal suicide. Willy Lowman's life ambition is to be a successful salesman after he saw Dave Singlemon a 94 year old did the same from the comfort of his own room and be praised and loved by so many people we are able to see Willy's fascination with being well like which essentially contributed to his death because he wasn't well liked he became further distressed adding to his unstable mental state that resulted in him committing suicide. Whilst this happened his sons Biff and happy deal with dilemma's of their own such as finding success for themselves and woman. They...
