Do they enforce old stereotypical concepts of gender in this post feminist society? Reasons for this question are, although the new generation of young adults have grown in a time of gender equality. The same roles have been adopted by men and women as done in the past and as other forms of mass media (radio, television and film) generally refrain from strong gender bias, the medium of magazines has remained unchanged and continues even today.
