Theatre Practices Written Analysis 1 Caroline Ranson The group presentation I will discuss is group number two's. The piece started off with Steph holding an apple high above her head while Kieran and Holly tried desperately to reach it (diagram i). Eventually, after Holly and Kieran give up trying to reach the apple, Steph lowers it down to Holly who then takes a bite from it. Holly then begins to strut around the space while Kieran looks longingly after her; she slowly seduces him and eventually lets him take a bite from the apple as well. Subsequently, Kieran too begins to strut round the space and slaps Holly on the backside. Holly doesn't like this and they both then start fighting over the apple until it falls onto the floor. They both then storm out of the space: Holly shouts 'Men' while Kieran shouts 'Fucking women' back at her. ...
