Gender Issues In Sitcoms The two sitcoms that represent gender issues are Friends and The Vicar Of Dibley. The main actors in Friends are Matt Le Blanc (Joey), Jennifer Aniston (Rachael), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Courtney Cox (Monica), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and David Schwimmer (Ross). The writer of Friends is Scott Silveri. The episode I chose to write about is 'The One With The Football' from series three; this episode was first showed in 1996 / 1997. In this episode they decide to have an American football match which reveals rivalry between Monica and Ross where as Joey and Chandler compete for a girl.
