TOK Presentation Evaluation In what ways did the topic address problems of knowledge, such as reaching truth or gaining evidence? Our presentation discussed what truths people find after death. Presenting the varying philosophies on after-life, we found it hard to find evidence of which one is 'truth' - no one alive recently has come back from the dead to tell us what occurs. We discussed truth based on faith and how we believe in these 'truths'. What was the main objective of the presentation? Explain. We discussed varying faiths views of the after-life, old faiths such as the Egyptians and current faiths like Christianity and Buddhism. After this we engaged the class in discussion about justifying these beliefs - how does one 'know' their belief is correct? Do we weigh scientific knowledge as strongly as spiritual/emotional knowledge? What methods were used to present the topic and why were these methods selected? We first...
