For this essay, I intend to analyse some characters from "Of Mice And Men" and link the consequences of their social inadequacies together. The statement above is certainly true for the characters of "Of Mice And Men". For different characters there are different reasons for why they are social misfits. In the book, these inadequacies vary from gender, ethnicity, appearance and disability. As a result of these inadequacies, different characters receive different consequences. Curley's wife, for example, is a "misfit" because of a few reasons. First of all, she's the only woman on the ranch. Secondly, she dresses like a "tart" to receive attention. Thirdly, she suffers from acute loneliness. She desperately seeks company...
