Explore The Play From Willie Mussop's Development In this play, written in the beginning of the twentieth century, one of the most distinct developments is the progression of Willie Mussop, from being a simple working class shoemaker's 'hand', to a businesses-class man, who actually holds his own successful business (and the swing effect this has on his previous employer who becomes a chronic alcoholic, form being a successful businessman is).
