Britain, 1750-1900 There are different interpretations of the impact of the industrial Revolution on the people of Britain because it did not have benefits for everybody. This source concentrates on how the only person that benefits from all the working class people in the factories is the 'grasping factory master' He tells of the detail of how the employees are treated, and what horrible conditions they are treated in. This magazine, 'History Today' says that the woman and children are 'engaged for starvation wages in an endless round of drudgery.' This is a prime example of how badly the working class were treated. He says that the working class's life is judged by how fast technology is developing....
