"Respect your father and your mother, so that you may live a long time in the land I have given you. "Do not commit murder." (Exodus 20.13) Because Christians believe in the sacredness of life they believe that all people should be treated with respect and that they should offer help to anyone in need. "Christ is like a single body, which has many parts; it is still one body even though it is made up of different parts. In the same way all of us, whether Jews or gentiles, whether slaves or free, have been baptised into one body by the same spirit, and we have all been given the one spirit to drink." (1Corinthians ch12) this teaching by Saint Paul means that we are all responsible for
