... The Pledge of Allegiance We are all guaranteed many rights as American citizens. Some include freedom of religion, press, speech, assembly and many more. Why do we have the freedom of speech when schools aren't allowed to use it? A couple of years ago people tried to take the pledge allegiance away from the schools. Some people said that it offend them when they would say the pledge of allegiance because it involved religion. Just because it says "one nation under god" it all has to be taken away? I don't think so! Now the pledge of allegiance has been cut down to only being said once a week! Why do we do that? It's not like it takes a long time to recite it. Someday we might even just say it once a month or even once a year or never again. I think our country deserves a
