The world we live in one has to constantly be on guard. It may sound extreme to some, but the next time you pull up to a stop light with a homeless person standing there, look at how many people go to lock their door. This is a simple action that is just a means of self protection. Imagine though losing your job, having to make a sign begging for money to survive, only to hear the sounds of locking doors every time someone comes near you. The people in the cars have made a pre-judgment that the homeless may cause them harm. This pre-judgment is what has come to commonly be known as prejudice.
