... Explain what Christians believe about justice The foundation of all Christian belief is that God sent His Son to die on the cross for mankind. By doing this, God achieved three things: satisfying His judgment against sin, forgiving the sins of the world, and reconciling man to God. This is why Christians have such specific beliefs about the issues of justice, forgiveness and reconciliation. Christians believe that God is absolutely just. The earliest account of this is a quote by Abraham in Genesis 18:25: "You are the Judge of all the earth. Won't you do what is right?" This demonstrates how God was thought of as fair from the very beginning. In Psalm 11:7, David writes "The Lord does what is right, and He loves justice." As humans we must practice God's perfect judgment to the best of our ability. For example, if a person commits a crime, then their punishment should fit
