With those stirring words Martin Luther King Jr. gave one of the most significant and remembered speeches in American History. His speech expressed a dream that promoted peace and equality. A dream that was thought to have united the black and white communities. A dream which made America aware of a problem, and which altered peoples perspectives in a racially biased country. A dream. Which ultimately led to his demise. So, after 40 years of social change, would Martin Luther King Jr. be satisfied to see how far his dream has been realized? Has America fulfilled King's dream?
