Describe the ways in which discrimination was reduced between the years of 1945 to 1955 The following will examine the ways in which discrimination was reduced between the years of 1945 to 1955. I will do this by firstly discussing about the Truman years. Secondly analysing the brown case. Finally describing the Montgomery bus boycott. This will discuss how the Truman years has reduced discrimination between the years 1945 to 1955. Truman was born a racist. This was because he was born in the south and grew up in a racist environment called Missouri. This was a violent town. The people living in the south wanted to own themselves and newspapers reported 'its ok to lynch black Americans because it's just a nigger' this shows that no sympathy was displayed for the black Americans. Truman's uncle was rich and he was part of the Ku Klux Klan. He used to buy slaves...
