The word "prejudice" itself means to prejudge, that is, we judge somebody without having knowledge or experience about the. So prejudice is a way of thinking about other groups of people. Discrimination is the act carried out by prejudice thinking and examples of discrimination are: racism, sexism, disability and ageism. Racism is defined by the formula "prejudice + power". Sometimes, our racial prejudices are made acceptable and supported by key institutions in our society. Racism is seen when racial prejudice is turned into action of some sort, and this action is to the disadvantage of some racial group of individual. Sexism is another form of prejudice, which is the belief that one gender is inferior to the other.
