David Copeland- Nailbomber Who was he? David Copeland was brought up in Hampshire with his mother, a part time helper for the handicapped and his father, an engineer, he was very small and believed himself to be "a short nobody" and at the age of 13 his parents took him in for growth treatment. Copeland hated his nickname that was "Mr Angry" and he left school with a few low grade GCSE's and had began drinking and taking drugs, this was followed by convictions for assault. Copeland had always been racist and when he was 9 years old he refused to go swimming with a black child, he hated blacks and called them paki's and nigars. His parents accused him for being gay, which he wasn't, and sang the "Flintstones" soundtrack outlining the line "a gay old time". Friends described Copeland as insecure and full of fear but when he moved to London...
