Cold Heart In the light of recent events it has been each country's own moral responsibility to look closely at and deal with racism and racial tension within the different religious communities which dwell within its borders. It has been a well kept myth that Scotland always has been a non racist country. With brownie points being awarded to the keen yet calm and cheerful followers of the nation's football team who in the World Cup of 1998, held in France, took to the French like a duck to water. Issues discussed in this essay will relate to the government's recent plans to rid Scotland of racism. The newspapers agreed that it couldn't have come at a better time for Scotland.
