Christians should not become involved in political issues ? Historically for a long time the church was the government or very heavily involved in it (in the UK the Church of England bishops are still part of the government in the house of Lords). What is a political issue? If it is about government and ruling then Christians believe in the rule of God and the idea of the kingdom of Heaven so who is ruling is not important. you could look at biblical ideas on the kingdom of God However it is about how people live their lives and the social issues that government decide then there is a lot of biblical teaching about how people should treat each other "Love your neighbour as yourself". Look for examples in the bible of stories about social justice. Lastly it could be about moral issues - look at the 10 commandments and see how many of...
