Christian responsibility for human life Christians believe that they are responsible for the welfare of the most vulnerable members of society, that every life of every skin colour and every degree of physical or mental ability is infinitely valuable. Every person was created in God's image or likeness and this alone is where our value is derived from, not our skin colour, physical ability, mental ability or wealth.
