Christian responsibility for human life Christians believe that they are responsible for the welfare of the most vulnerable members of society, that every life of every skin colour and every degree of physical or mental ability is infinitely valuable. Every person was created in God's image or likeness and this alone is where our value is derived from, not our skin colour, physical ability, mental ability or wealth. It is the job of the church and all Christians to defend the dignity of human life, those at the beginning of their lives and those at the end of their lives. Respect for all human life is essential, without it a good society could not be made. If we are not bothered about the unborn, the elderly, the poor and the people with disabilities we are not really Christians are we? All humans are equal, the bible teaches this God created all...
