"Europe in the 15th century was very different to Europe today" I do believe that Europe in the 15th century was different to present day Europe, mainly because of technological advances, freedom of speech, advances in the way people thought, acted and what they believed in. There are many differences between 15th century Europe and present day Europe, such as the way religion played an important part in the day to day running of people's lives. The church was heavily involved within the local community and provided many services for the community such as medical care, sanctuary and education to some. Nowadays people don't get that involved in the church, many people consider themselves Christians although they rarely attend church and don't follow the teachings of the bible as their counterparts in the 15th century would have.
