An essay describing the teachings of the religion that I am studying about the way in which believers should treat people who are less fortunate than themselves Christian's beliefs on how to treat people less fortunate than themselves have been built upon what they have been taught by the bible. The Old Testament says many things about how to treat the poor such as: 'Share your food with the hungry and open your homes to the homeless poors. Give clothes to those who have nothing to wear' Isaiah 58:6-8 This means that Christians should help the poor by giving them what they need. 'There will always be poor people in the land.
