RE GCSE Coursework Patrick Brosnan AO1 Christians are followers of Christ. They have a duty to speak and act as Jesus did. Jesus cared for everyone and called Christians to do the same, "Love your neighbour as yourself" (Mk 12:29-32). This means that Christians should love all other humans. They should act selflessly towards others and help the needy. People of all races and nationalities, people who have done wrong and people who are seen as outcasts should not be discriminated against by Christians but seen as fellow humans with the same needs and feelings as everyone else. This is perhaps one of the hardest ways to follow in Christ's footsteps. In the story of "A lamp under a Bowl" Jesus gives a warning to people who judge others, "The same rules you use to judge others will be used by God to judge you- but with even greater severity!" (Mk 4:24-25)...
