Question A Part I A miracle is defined in the dictionary as two things: A) "A strange wonderful, extraordinary thing or event B) "An abnormal event or occurrence which cannot be explained by any known natural law of cause and effect and is therefore assigned to super-natural agency; something transcending the laws of nature - any one of the marvellous acts of Christ such as raising the dead feeding the 5000 etc. A miracle philosophically speaking is never more than a coincidence no matter how extraordinary or significant. Take the example you miss a bus that same bus catches on fire this is not a miracle just coincidence that you missed the bus. There are four types of "religious" miracles involving Jesus: One example of this is when Jesus controls nature, inspiring awe and wonder e.g. Jesus feeds a great crowd (Luke 9 10-17).
