People use the word miracle in many different ways. Would cloning a person be a miracle, is the birth of a baby a miracle, was the mission to moon a miracle? The Oxford School Dictionary defines the word miracle as being 'something wonderful and good that happens, especially something believed to have a supernatural or divine cause.' In the synoptic gospels, the Greek word used for miracles is dunameis - a word meaning 'acts of power'. However there are many things we can explain today (space flight, television, movement of planets etc...) that we could not explain 50, 100 or 200 years ago and there may be things today which we can't explain, but which will be explained...
