Can Faith Move Mountains? Faith is about belief and trust, whether it be in God, religion, a person or an event. Faith does not require scientific proof to provide evidence of faith, as faith is a belief unique to every individual. Mountains are large naturally occurring hills; so how could faith move something that is already part of nature? Physically, it is not possible, however this question can be applied to a number of contexts and is dependent on an individual's view on life and is therefore not just a literal expression but has a deeper underlying meaning to it. The expression could actually refer to faith changing circumstances. For example, if a person had a life-threatening accident, and their family prayed to God and kept their faith in Him, they would eventually get better.
