Can Faith Move Mountains? Faith is about belief and trust, whether it be in God, religion, a person or an event. Faith does not require scientific proof to provide evidence of faith, as faith is a belief unique to every individual. Mountains are large naturally occurring hills; so how could faith move something that is already part of nature? Physically, it is not possible, however this question can be applied to a number of contexts and is dependent on an individual's view on life and is therefore not just a literal expression but has a deeper underlying meaning to it. The expression could actually refer to faith changing circumstances. For example, if a person had a life-threatening accident, and their family prayed to God and kept their faith in Him, they would eventually get better. Some people would argue that this is to do with how badly the person had been injured...
